Just a note to let you know how much we are enjoying our new extension. We had thought that a room in the loft would be a small "spare room" but were pleasantly surprised when you measured things up and we found that we could have a substantial "master bedroom" and a full-size en-suite bathroom.
However, the greatest revelation was the fact that we could have a roof terrace on our typical London Edwardian semi which is big enough for a proper dining table. This is particularly appreciated in our gardenless upstairs flat and we can hardly wait for the summer to start our al fresco entertaining.
We were also pleased with the high standard of workmanship from the various tradespeople and we are feeling inspired to bring the rest of the flat up to the same standard as the new loft.

It's a very nice space: The room is still empty at the moment, (the walls painted white, the laminate flooring is down), but the wide French Windows together with the Velux windows lets in plenty of light and gives a good view. The shower room tiling in particular looks good too, people have said nice things about it when they've seen it.

When I decided on having a loft conversion to my 2 bed terrace house I approached 3 companies for a quote. I decided on Lofts London for their competitive price, the quality of their work shown on the website and because they are a local firm for which local reputation matters.
Once the work commenced it progressed at a remarkable rate and the loft was fully converted within 8 weeks as suggested at the start.
The builders were very professional and respectful and made every effort to keep any disruption to a minimum. I couldn't believe how clean & tidy they were which really helped my family carry on as normal without having to worry about what was happening in our roof ! If we did hit a snag or had a query the designated project manager was always available or would make a personal visit to the property at very short notice which helped enormously in keeping the conversion on track. I now have a 4 bed terrace house, am very pleased with the conversion and would recommend Lofts London to anyone thinking about a loft conversion.

Yes I do have positive feedback. I was very pleased with the work done. The team headed by Darius was very courteous and professional throughout the project. They were also very flexible to the last minute minor changes that we asked of them..and believe me there were a few of those..They always kept us informed of next steps. In terms of after sales follow up. On two occasions I needed some fine tunings done to the central heating months later . The plumber was very proactive and swift to attend to the problem. The decorators also were very meticulous in their work with attention to detail utmost. They gave advice on “look and feel” throughout.

All work was carried out to a high standard. The team were prompt, polite and left the house very clean after every day of working. The works were project managed my Mangus who again was very good, he regularly updated us on progress and would accommodate our meetings in the evenings to fit in with our busy working lives.
Any minor issues raised or alterations to specification were swiftly addressed and we were always fully briefed on progress. We are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend using your company to any one else considering having the same of similar building works carried out.

Yes pleased to say loft conversion going at a remarkable pace.
Carpenters have just completed second fix with doors and skirting in place, stairs in particular look great. The roofers have been working on the gable end with 90% of the main roof completed. The window for the gable end has yet to arrive and fitted as I believe as we had an extra chimney (the original one that probably mirrored Sally's was too big and had to be reordered).
Must say the main chimney now rendered looks much better. We had some extra work done including the rebuilding of the front gable end chimney as when the plasterer started to render the chimney he found it to be unstable! So he took it down and rebuilt the stack. The plumber did some extra work for us at a very reasonable price and was very supportive working through various options with us. The decision to have our roof at the front mirror Sally's was a good call as the roof looks great. Sarah can look over the fields as the carpenters built a platform in the master bedroom and is a nice added feature.
All in all we have found all the workers to be willing and helpful and hard working, Sylvester has kept in touch and is soon sorting out any issues which to be honest have been minimal or caused by our indecisions or changes of plan. You are more than welcome to come over and have a look, thanks for your follow up e-mail.

I would like to take this opportunity to explain the fantastic job done by project manager Ramas and his team. We started our loft conversion on a very tight deadline of six weeks and from day one every aspect of the conversion was explained and talked through at every stage. Then Ramas would then send his expert team to come in and complete the works needed for that stage according to the contract and in the correct time scale.
At each stage we never felt any pressure or worries about the job being done and nothing was to much for Ramas 's team as they all highly professional and skilled people. I would like to recommend anyone wanting to convert their loft or any job within their home to contact you as you will not have to worry, the job will be completed to the highest standard and you would think that this would cost you more, but actually they were even the cheapest company we looked at and we looked at many.

We can't speak highly enough about our experiences with you. We were introduced to Mangis and his wonderful team of Lithuanian workers and within a couple of weeks, our loft was started.
Our one request to Mangis was that he keep us informed at all times which he did. He told us what was happening when,and usually when he said things would happen or builders would arrive, they did. On the odd occasion when there were delays, he let us know immediately and when we could expect things to start up again.
What a reassurance to be treated with respect and honesty at all times. It made life very simple when we knew what to expect. This was so different to our previous experience of builders. What we especially appreciated was that someone was always available on the other end of the phone. When we had a problem caused by our previous builders, Mangis came over immediately and sorted out the leaking roof for us and explained what had to be done to fix it.
Mangis and his team were very polite, respectful and extremely hard working. If it meant staying until 9 at night to get things finished so as not to hold things up, this is what they did. You never felt that you had a large group of men in your house. They were very easy to have around.
From the off, we felt very much that the team were not just hurrying to get the job done as quickly as possible, but trying to get us the best possible loft for our needs. We wanted 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for our children. It meant getting rid of the existing box room so that a set of stairs could be started in that space. The advice we received form them was very helpful and it resulted in us changing the position of the loft bathroom.When we wanted to change a wall that had already been framed up, they were more than happy to do so for us. From start to finish the whole thing took about ten weeks and this included a week when nothing much happened whilst we were waiting for windows to arrive
The result is a wonderful addition to our home. Our children are now happily living in their new bedrooms upstairs and we have a floor to ourselves with a our room, bathroom and a lovely guest room. We would very happily recommend you. They were extremely professional and gave us exactly what we wanted on time and on budget. We have had the most unbelievable comments from all our visitors who are all very impressed. Thank you Mangis and your team.

I want to say a huge thank you to you for the fabulous job you have done on our loft. Out home is transformed. Sylvestre and his team were responsive and efficient and the whole project took just 6 weeks from scaffolding going up to completion. I had a previous negative experience with builders who disappeared off the job leaving me without a sink or cooker but with a new baby so I think I was probably a twitchy customer.
I was reassured however by the phenomenal work ethic of the various teams that did the work and by the updates from Sylvester about who would be coming when.
Our house is I think a fairly typical 3 bedroomed Victorian terrace. We have had two equalish sized rooms and a bathroom put into the loft which has become the “space” of our two children. The front bedroom we had the team build us some fitted wardrobes and they have done a really lovely job. We also had them build a shoe cupboard (I kid you not) and lay a wooden floor. It all looks really great and I am so pleased that we bit the bullet and did it.

In terms of the conversion we are extremely pleased with the end result, the final build was better than the plans originally suggested thanks to the tweaks made by the builders onsite to give us the maximum living space despite the small loft area to work with.
The build quality is superb as reflected by the building control when they came to inspect the work - they just glanced over the main areas as they could see the time and effort that had been put into the job and could not fault what had been done.
I must point out though that I've never had any dealings with builders so polite, conscientious and tidy in my life! I cannot praise the work enough and would recommend your company to anyone. Given the current financial climate it is difficult to put faith in a building outfit to produce the goods but I had no reservations going with your company right from the outset and I knew we would get, at the very least, the conversion we asked for done to a high quality.

The loft conversion went well. As you know we had a few problems as we experienced the worst weather conditions for 30 years just while we were having the work done. I was very impressed with the workers turning up on those days and working despite the snow, gale, etc. The quality of work was good.

We are delighted with the loft and it has transformed our living space. Juliette and I have moved into the loft room with the new bathroom as an almost en suite.
We could not be more pleased with it. Silvester managed things very well and got things done when they needed to be. There was only one piece of snagging which was sorted out straight away.
All the builders were very polite, professional and hard working - and I include the electricians (Guy and Bob), plumber (Arvis) and the painters.
I could give you several examples of 'beyond the call of duty' work but you get the gist. Please can you pass on our sincere thanks to all of them. Arvis did a great job of the plumbing and bathroom fitting.
He helped with a leak that turned out to be faulty work by British Gas but we paid for all additional work. At the age of 44 I finally have a perfect shower every morning and am eternally grateful to him for that ! We have showed some people round the conversion and recommended you happily. I hope that business is picking up post credit crunch?

I am writing to let you know that my wife and I are really pleased with the work that you have done to add a new room to our loft. Having someone in your home when you are at work is always difficult and all of the guys have made every effort to make this painless and chaos-free. They were really friendly and polite when on the job.
They would always sweep up and pack away their tools each night to reduce the mess in our home. They even washed their cups after having a cup of tea.
In particular, I wanted to mention the efforts of Saulius who was our lead carpenter and managed the first fix. Saulius and and his team worked efficiently and made excellent progress. At one point a problem arose with our bathroom and he made a considerable effort to listen to what we wanted and then used his knowledge to achieve this. He was always patient and calm with us and very willing to do extra work to be sure we were getting what we wanted. He made a real difference to the end result.

Generally I am not the kind of person to write in to thank you for good quality work as I expect it to be the norm. However the recent experience |I had with you deserves a letter of thanks to you and your team.
As you are aware we had an “L” type loft which surprisingly gave us three extra rooms and turned our modest three bedroom home into a five bedroom two bathroom which surpassed all our expectations.
I was very impressed with the speed in which the loft was built and the quality of the craftsmanship. It seemed that I went to work in the morning and when I returned the loft was built with no fuss or mess.
Having the extra space has greatly improved our quality of life without hurting our pockets. Please ensure that my thanks is passed on to the hard working team involved.

We saw their work at a friends house and decided to convert our own loft. We contacted SLL on our friends recommendation.
They were very helpful with all the planning and provided a great advice. Once work had started, the building team worked very hard with the minimum of disruption to our lives. The quality of the work was excellent, especially the carpentry and plastering, even drawing praise from other builders on the house.
The job was done very efficiently and completed on time and on budget and SLL were already competitive against other firms we spoke to.
